My name is Jules and I am headshot photographer based in melbourne australia and am responsible for all of the Headshots on this site.

I have been photographing Headshots for around 6 years and over this time I have worked with a number of agents and acting schools and I am always looking for ways to keep my work fresh and creative.

The  goal for me is quite simple really, to produce you with oustanding headshots that get you cast and to make the process as fun and enjoyable as possible.

My studio is based in Fitzroy so your session will start there and depending on what package you book you will probably end up being dragged through the alley ways and back streets of fitzroy and in search of the perfect lighting and background that will make your Headshots really stand out from the crowd.

This process is lots of fun and really allows you to just be yourself and enjoy your headshot session.

What to wear

It is highly recommended that you bring a variety of contrasting necklines for the sitting and if possible using block/neutral colours. A range of options including shirts, jackets, hoodies, t shirts, jumpers and any favourite items will help break up the feel of the shoot and give you more options for more castings. Where possible try to avoid bright colours ie white, stripes and labels as it tends to be a bit distracting.

Hair/Makeup

For the guys  a light face powder can be helpful to reduce face shine from oils in the skin.

For the girls less is generally more so try to keep it simple and to a minimum. A light digital retouch will remove any unforseen blemishes that may arise on the day.

Also recommended is a haircut or trim a day or two before the shoot to ensure you are looking and feeling sharp and confident on the day.
